Η Google σού δίνει έτοιμο QR για κριτικές από το Business Profile: «Read reviews» και μετά «Get more reviews» (λήψη περισσότερων κριτικών).
6 moments when a QR code talks to customers for you
Customers have questions and you are not always available. In those moments, a well-placed QR code answers for you.
Most shops do not lose customers because they do something wrong. They lose them in small moments: when a customer cannot find a piece of information, does not want to bother anyone, or there is simply nobody to ask. These are the moments where a QR code makes the biggest difference.
1. When the customer does not speak your language
A tourist looks at the menu and has no idea what “kokoretsi” is. Instead of searching on their phone or hesitating to ask, they scan and read the menu in their own language, with descriptions and photos. In a country with as much tourism as Greece, this may be the most useful place for a QR code.
2. When the shop is closed
Someone walks past at 11 pm and sees something they like in the window. A QR code on the glass sends them to your online shop, your bookings or your opening hours. Your shop window keeps working after you have gone home.
3. When they want to talk to you now
A QR code can open a phone call, an email, or a WhatsApp chat with a ready-made message. For WhatsApp, a link of the form wa.me/30 followed by your number is enough. Customers do not copy numbers and do not make mistakes. For garages, technicians and holiday rentals, that means fewer missed calls.
4. The moment they are happy
The best time to ask for a review is when the customer is paying and smiling, not a week later with an email they will not open. Google gives you a ready-made review QR code in your Business Profile: “Read reviews”, then “Get more reviews”. Put it at the till.
NFC helps here too: the customer just taps their phone on the stand and the page opens, no camera needed. iPhones read NFC tags without an app from the iPhone XS onwards, and most Android phones do when NFC is switched on.
5. After the purchase
“How do I clean it?” “Where is the warranty?” “Can I order it again?” A QR code on the packaging, or on a card inside the box, answers all of these. Customers find the answer on their own and you stop taking the same calls over and over.
6. When they need to get online
“What's the Wi-Fi password?” is probably the most common question in cafés, offices and rooms. A QR code with the network and password connects the customer in one scan, and the password stops living on scraps of paper left on tables.
Write next to the code what the customer will find: “Menu in 5 languages”, “Tell us what you think”, “Wi-Fi”. A QR code with no explanation is just a square most people walk past.
Where to start
Pick one of the moments above, the one you hear most often in your shop, and start there. You can make the code for free in the QR Generator, with options for links, Wi-Fi, phone and email, and test it. Once you see it works, we turn it into a stand with your logo and, if you like, NFC.
